Youth Sports Today started over 25 years ago with our first publication in print only. (The digital age had yet to arrive.) Since then we have caught up with the times and are now all digital, while still focusing on what is the most important resource we have, our children! As the leading family publication, the primary mission of Youth Sports Today is to help our kids PLAY, LEAD and SUCCEED on and off the field!

Whether we are doing a superstar profile, athlete or coach of the month, or calendar of events, Youth Sports Today is here serving as a forum that is fun and involving for the entire family, players and coaches. Youth Sports Today is dedicated to highlighting the athletic skills and other achievements of our youth. Sports are truly a family activity! So each week we not only feature photos, interviews and the achievements of our youth, but also include educational and helpful information for the entire family.

Another part of Youth Sports Today is our commitment to charitable organizations. We support several charities throughout the year in conjunction with Thomas-John Advocacy and Advocacy In Motion Podcast. Tresha is the proud Mom to 3 kids and has been on the sidelines as a coach, cheering from the stands and providing support as a team Mom for over 28 years! She has seen firsthand the positive role Youth Sports plays in a child’s development.

When Tresha is not a Mom, Cheerleader or Publisher, she is a licensed insurance agent where she enjoys helping others! In her spare time, Tresha has and continues to serve on the board of directors and volunteers with organizations such as the National Kidney Foundation, YMCA, Taylor’s Gift Foundation, The Nancy Lieberman Foundation and many others.

Tresha’s passion to serve is one of the reason’s Youth Sports Today is proudly celebrating its 25th Anniversary and will continue long into the future.

Thomas John Advocacy was founded to provide publicity and support for non-profit organizations dedicated to aiding families and children in need.I am pleased to support Cure Duchenne MD, Taylor’s Gift, Through The Clouds, Mankind, and The Play Catch Foundation.

Prior to founding Thomas-John and joining Youth Sports Today, I enjoyed a career in sports marketing as a representative for CBS Radio Sports, The Texas Rangers Radio Network, corporate sponsorships for The Dallas Cowboys, and Vice President for Roger Staubach’s PPI Marketing.

My passion is golf, and I am fortunate to work with the LPGA to support the many programs of the Volunteers of America.

Along the way, my greatest joy is sharing all the experiences with my three children and three grandchildren. The opportunities presented by Youth Sports Today and, as a co-founder of The Play Catch Foundation, further highlights the importance enjoying family all along the way.
